Do you ever feel like you’re stuck when it comes to creating content for your business? You’re not alone. A lot of online business owners struggle with this, for a variety of reasons

It’s not that we don’t have good content, or we’re not smart or creative (you wouldn’t be in online business if you weren’t).

You have a heart to serve and have an amazing product, but your content – whether it’s searchable, evergreen content like your blog, podcast, or YouTube, or social media content – is keep you stuck.

Content creation should be SIMPLE. But, there are 3 core reasons that are keeping you from creating content and showing up consistently for your audience:

1. You don’t know yet who your ideal client is

You have a heart to serve, but if you don’t know WHO you are serving, the pain points they are struggling with, or the transformation they’re trying to achieve, it is going to be difficult to create content that resonates with your potential clients and customers.
Many times we do this backward. We create an offer but we have no idea what problem we are trying to solve. And if you don’t know what problem you are solving, of course you’re going to struggle to create content for your business!

Once you have a better understanding of who your target audience is and the problem you are trying to solve, you’ll be in a much better position to create content that effectively markets your product or service. Keep in mind that your target audience may change over time, so it’s important to revisit this issue on a regular basis.

2. You’re nervous about what your audience might think of you

It’s natural to feel nervous about putting yourself out there online. But the truth is, if you want your business to succeed, you need to get over that fear and start creating content that will engage and convert your audience.

Focus on providing value to your audience. They don’t care about how great you think you are – they just want to know that you can help them solve their problem. Every piece of content you create should have a specific purpose and be laser-focused on providing that value to your ideal client.

In addition, be authentically YOU! People can tell when you’re being fake, so don’t try to be someone you’re not. Be genuine, transparent, and upfront with your audience, and they’ll appreciate it.

3. You’re dealing with Imposter Syndrome

When you don’t feel qualified to do what you’re doing, it can be downright impossible to create content and market your services.

But, here’s the thing: everyone feels like an imposter sometimes.

It’s perfectly normal to second-guess yourself and your abilities. But the key is to push through that feeling and create the content that your business needs. Remember, you don’t have to be perfect – you just have to be good enough. And chances are, your audience will appreciate your content even more if it’s coming from a real person who’s imperfections. So go ahead and put yourself out there – your business will thank you for it!
